Big Bathroom Tile Project

This project involved removing shoe moulding around the two vanities and pulling up carpet in the main master bathroom. The floor in the toilet room had white 4" tile that was removed as well. The toilet was also taken up. The 1/2" cement backer board was applied to the floor, liquid two 50# sacks of leveling compound was used to was level the entire floor. The new 12" porcelain tile was installed diagonally. The manufacturer of the tile also made a bull nose that was used to transition from the sleeping chamber to the bathroom and from the bathroom into the walk-in closets. After the tile and grout were installed, new shoe mouldings were installed around the jacuzzi tub, and shoe moulding previously removed were reinstalled, followed by the application of white paint. The toilet was reinstalled. The project was finished by sealing the grout with a high quality grout sealer.
